Kansas Real Estate License Requirements

How Do I Obtain my License?

Your first step to a rewarding career in real estate begins with completing two pre-licensing courses, Principals of Real Estate and Real Estate Practice Course.

The Principals of Real Estate course requires eith 30 classroom hours given over a 4 day - 2 weekend session. If the weekend classes don't fit best with your schedule, a homestudy course is also available. If you choose to take the home study course, we offer a regular study group to help you best prepare for the licensing exam.

Following the Principalsof Real Estate course, a Home Study Practice Couse must be completed to prepare you for real world situations in your future real estate career.

Successful completion of the courses is a pre-requisite for the State Licensing Examination. Coldwell Banker Griffith & Blair American Home, REALTORS® will be pleased to provide you with assistance in preparing for your real estate career and will gladly guide you in registering for your courses and scheduling to take the state exam.

State Licensing examination - Upon completion of the basic courses you will be ready to take the State exam. As part of our assisting you in your endeavor, we will provide you with all of the details you will need, including test locations.
